Automobiles are comfortable and convenient modes of transportation,
and the number of cars on the road has grown each year. The supply of parking spaces has not kept pace
with the rise in the number of cars, and illegal roadside parking has become a major social problem. The
lack of parking spaces also contributes to traffic congestion and traffic accidents, and exhaust gases
from automobiles have created environmental problems as well. On the other hand, concerns about ecology
have prompted a resurgence in the use of bicycles, but this has led to problems because of a lack of space
for bicycle parking at railway stations and shopping arcades.
To solve these problems caused by cars, bicycles and similar forms of transportation, Nippon Signal has applied its superior technologies to the development of a range of parking lot management support systems for cars and bicycles.
In addition, we have developed systems that provide the necessary information to people who are traveling from one place to another, such as display systems indicating the location and availability of parking spaces, as well as display systems for train-related information at railway stations.
